~When someone says something negative about me. Are my feelingshurt? (Yes/No) How do I overcome my hurt? By detaching fromthe situation until I can figure out what is behind it. If it was inretaliation for an unkindness I did, let me correct my fault. If not, Ihave no responsibility in the matter.Nothing can hurt me unless I allow it to. When I’m hurt by anythingthat happens outside of myself, it is not that thing that hurts me,but the way I think and feel about it.Let me not suffer over, the actions and reactions of other people.Other adult human beings are not my responsibility. I will not allowmyself to be troubled by anyone else.
