We may want to hold backthe tides of change, not because the change isn't good, but becausewe have had so much change, so much loss.Many of us have so much grief to get through. Sometimes we beginto believe grief, or pain, is a permanent condition.Once felt and released, our feelings will bring us to a better placethan where we were. Feeling our feelings, instead of denying orminimizing them, is one of the ways we heal from our past andmove forward into a better future.It may hurt for a moment, but peace and acceptance are on theother side.
