Some thoughts about recovery. * Take what you like and leave the rest.
The process of adapting to change and loss takes energy. Grief isdraining, sometimes exhausting.
We may feel more tired than usual. We may want to hide out inthe safety of our bedroom.
We want to maintain the disciplines of recovery. But we can becompassionate with ourselves. We do not have to expect morefrom ourselves than we can deliver during this time.
We may need more rest, more sleep, more comfort. We may bemore needy and have less to give. It is okay to accept ourselves,during times of grief, stress, and change.
